Habitat Integrated Pakistan

Habitat Integrated Pakistan is a non-political, non-profit, non-government organization, which works for the welfare of people through the protection of fauna, flora, biodiversity, environment protection and sustainable development.

One of the programs of HIP is to promote craft products of the gypsy women from Punjab, Pakistan.

Habitat Integrated Pakistan has been providing training for crafts products to these women, since 1999.

These women are given training in the production of wallets, eye glass cases, greeting cards, cloth bags, Christmas hangings, cushion covers, scarves, tableware, dolls, jewellery boxes, and many other items.

In Jan 2004, Habitat Integrated Pakistan became a member of the Fair Trade Federation and started exporting crafts products to United States of America.
